07 Oct What’s been happening at the Hub?
11th August – The Haverfordwest Mosque held its Eid celebration at Haverhub. With morning prayers held by the Imam followed by an afternoon of delicious food, a fun bouncy castle for children, and much enjoyment through shared culture and beliefs. The event was open to the public, and Haverfordwest residents dropped by to see what was going on, receiving warm welcomes and plates full of homemade food. A wonderful, open and happy event that we would like to see more of. Eid Mubarak!23-25th August – The HaverBeer Festival, hosted by Haverhub for the second year running, was a great bash! We’d like to extend our thanks to all volunteers and friends for helping us to pull off such a fun-filled 3 day event. From brilliant music and delicious food to a super relaxed and friendly atmosphere. And we mustn’t forget all the tasty beer (and my favorite the prosecco)! As our annual fundraiser, we had support from many local businesses. It was great fun to organise, and we will be setting up an organising committee for next years’ Beer Festival… so watch this space!
31st August; Dub Soundsystem Sessions: Green King Soundsystem lit up the Depot with another almighty session. With some of the biggest sounds in Wales, live art and intense immersive theatre experience, this was one epic night. We can’t really put it into words, so you’ll just have to come to the next Dub night scheduled in for Black Friday!!
