HaverHub is a relaunched community space which will give artists, sculptors, musicians, poets, printmakers, actors, photographers and film makers a fresh platform to show case work produced in and inspired by Pembrokeshire.
Exhibition spaces are available as a combination of space for rent and commission-based rates. The most diverse range of exhibitions can be staged. Work will be for sale to support artist livelihoods and contribute to maintaining the artistic spaces at Haverhub.
The essence of the program is to broaden the number of artists showing in Haverfordwest. Encourage artists from further afield to consider the inspirational elements of Pembrokeshire, and showcase individual visions created in all types of media.
Haverfordwest is in the best possible position to benefit from the creative input of talent here and encourage a new generation to not only be inspired by what is being created around them but be encouraged to think of the professional opportunities available in the creative industries.
The exhibition program is curated by Annabel Thomas, and all interested artists are currently being considered for the program for the next eighteen months. Recommendations of artists proposed by fellow artists and collectors for the exhibition program are encouraged and valued. Artists of all backgrounds and experience are welcome to contact us at email@example.com to be included in our considerations.
The influence of an artistic centre for artists to meet, show and share ideas will strengthen our brilliant artistic community and benefit the local area as a whole.
Volunteers interested in invigilating and giving talking tours of the exhibitions are also welcome.
HaverHub are proud to welcome internationally renowned artist, Tom Shepherd, for his first exhibition ‘Wild Watercolours’ in Pembrokeshire.
Tom has exhibited up and down the UK, and his paintings have become widely collected both here and internationally. He has also been a highly commended finalist in the World famous Wildlife Artist of the Year on several occasions.
Tom started off his art career creating custom artwork on guitars using graffiti pens. Making a move towards a brush and more traditional mediums opened up a whole new world to Tom and he hasn’t looked back since. He has been featured in various publications, including Artists & Illustrators Magazine.
This particular exhibition is a celebration of the joys of watercolour over a variety of subjects:
“For me the vibrant free flowing nature of watercolours makes it the perfect medium to capture the atmosphere, colour and light of any subject!”
‘Wild Watercolours’ exhibition will be on display in the main Foyer and Corner Room at HaverHub, Quay Street, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, SA61 1BG from 14th February 2022 until 11th March 2022. Mondays to Fridays 10am – 5pm, Saturdays 10am – 4.30pm.
You are also welcome to join us this Friday 18th for a FREE open evening where Tom Shepherd will be doing some live painting! This will be a lovely opportunity to meet the artist and see him creating his incredible work.
