Opening Night – The Human Touch

May 4, 2025 @ 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM

The Human Touch – A Celebration of Life Drawing in Haverfordwest
29 April – 18 May 2025 at Haverhub

The Human Touch is a new exhibition showcasing artwork from a group of artists connected through a relaxed and welcoming life drawing group based in Haverfordwest. Meeting regularly to draw from a variety of life models, the group brings together people from all backgrounds with a shared love for observing and drawing the human form.

The exhibition runs from  Tuesday 29 April to Sunday 18 May, with a special opening night on Sunday 4 May from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. It’s free to attend, and everyone is welcome to drop in for an informal evening of art, conversation, and refreshments. The exhibition will be displayed across Haverhub’s gallery spaces.

This diverse collective includes professional artists, art graduates, and self-taught creatives from across Pembrokeshire. Their work celebrates the spontaneity and honesty of life drawing — embracing the imperfect and expressive, and offering a quiet antidote to the digital world’s polished images.

As part of the exhibition, there will also be an interactive life drawing workshop on Thursday 8 May from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Open to all levels, this session is a chance to experience the creative process behind the show in a relaxed and supportive setting.
Tickets are £10 (£8 concessions for members of Fishguard Art Society and the Haverfordwest Life Drawing Group). Spaces are limited — book here:
