Join us for a brilliant evening with one of Wales’s most loved writers, Jon Gower, as he shares stories from his new book Birdland: A Journey Around Britain on the Wing.

Birdland is a warm, witty and thoughtful look at Britain’s birds — from garden favourites to rare coastal visitors. Jon takes us on a journey through bird habitats across the country, including his beloved Pembrokeshire, with plenty of personal stories and fascinating facts along the way.

Jon has written over 40 books in English and Welsh, across fiction, non-fiction, and nature writing. He’s a former BBC Wales arts correspondent, a Hay Festival International Fellow, and winner of the Wales Book of the Year for his novel Y Storïwr. He’s known for his lively, lyrical style and his deep love of the natural world.
