Sticky Situations! An arty party for members of ASD Family Help
Join in the fun in a room full of activities that use sticky labels and sticky tape to create beautiful art.
Drop in and try out four different art activities. Visit every stall or stick with your favourite.
Lovely lampshades
Use masking tape on fabric, stamp and paint over the fabric in bright colours. Then peel off and make into a lampshade (or have a grown-up make into a lampshade for you).
For people who enjoy getting a bit messy and making things. You’ll take home your own lampshade!
Let’s stick together: collaborative collage
Help build a collaborative sticker wall using plain colour stickers. Pose in front of the wall and have your photo taken.
For people who don’t enjoy getting messy and like being part of something bigger.
Doodle sketchbook
Make a sketchbook page using a grid of tape. Doodle over the tape with black ink pens. Peel away the tape to reveal random compositions.
For people who enjoy drawing and doodling.
Sticky shapes ball wall
Throw a ‘sticky’ hook-and-loop ball, try to hit the board of shaped targets. Get a round sticker for throwing the ball, then different shaped stickers corresponding to each target.
For people who enjoy movement and sporting challenge.
Sticker sheet party bag
Use stickers to decorate your own party bag to take home.
Ages 6+ years.
Children/Teens must be accompanied by an adult at this event. Adults may only attend when accompanying a child.
This workshop is being run in collaboration with ASD Family Help, whose staff and volunteers will be on hand throughout the event to provide support and assistance.
This workshop is subsidised with funding from Arts Council of Wales, Haverfordwest Town Council, and Valero.
